El thrash metal surgió a principios de los años 80 y fue muy fuerte principalmente en países como Estados Unidos y Alemania. Pensando en ello, Loudwire decidió publicar una lista con los mejores álbumes del género de cada año desde 1983.

Como debe ser, bandas como Metallica, Megadeth y Anthrax están presentes, pero la lista no dejó fuera a dos bandas brasileñas: Sepultura y Soulfly. Compruébalo a continuación.
